RSI is currently under contract for a multiyear project to install a soil cap system over a 120 acre site. Our responsibilities include the excavation, transportation and placement of 550,000 cubic yards of clay and topsoil for the construction of the soil cap system, new access roads and the onsite rail system. Concurrent with the cap construction we will also provide the onsite earthmoving and demolition required to construct the subgrade.

RSI was contracted to construct a 3.5 acre cap over a battery casing disposal site. The project included the placement of 18” of low permeability clay and 6” of topsoil. Synthetic liners were also installed in areas where site facilities precluded the placement of the 18” of clay. RSI contracted to install 1,200 linear feet of slurry wall up to 50 feet deep.
