RSI was responsible for the excavation, removal, and placement of approximately 3,000 cubic yards of non-hazardous lead contaminated soil located at this site. Upon completion of removal activities approximately 9,000 cubic yards of imported select clay materials were placed on top of the impacted soil. In areas around antenna anchors and buildings a Flexible Membrane Liner (FML) was installed as a separation barrier. Once the cap construction and site drainage activities were completed RSI constructed a roadway to allow vehicles to transverse the site to provide maintenance to a radio station transmitter and tower. This work was completed to expedite the sale of a commercial property which was being delayed due to its environmental liabilities.
